The book forms part of AOSIS Scholarly Books portfolio of open access publications. The book brings to the fore new voices in the built environment field and will assist in achieving transformation in thinking, without which we cannot have spatial transformation. In this session, the four authors will share ideas about their contributions to this important dialogue. With two authors from South Africa and two from Brazil and Mexico, this is also an important conversation between countries in the global south.
