Sebastian Granow, Head of Location Management Africa, Siemens

Sebastian is responsible for the strategic and operational real estate management of Siemens’ locations in Sub-Sahara Africa, ranging from site-selection, leasing, relocations and property disposals to day-to-day operations including facility- and service management, maintenance and workplace management.

Champion for energy efficiency through distributed energy systems with microgrids and enabling digital building management through our Siemens Mindsphere platform with a global pilot project in Midrand, Johannesburg.
He is also passionate about the prospects of IoT solutions and Blockchain technology in the real estate industry and enabling sustainability through Siemens’ products and digital services on the MindSphere platform, as well as creating perfect workplaces for employees to thrive.

Sebastian holds an MBA in the field of Sustainability Management from the Leuphana University in Germany.
